Google Maps can prove to be quite an interesting feature to put on the site. It is great for those wanting their audience to locate a specific place on the map.
Embedding Google Maps in Joomla isn’t hard work. All there is to do is to go to Google Maps website and search for the particular place that the user is interested in. Once located, click on Link and get the link located under the phrase “Paste HTML to embed in website”. Those wanting to customize how it is going to look like on the site can click on “Customize and preview embedded map”. This option allows the user to use a specific size of the map.
Once done, you can either turn off the WYSIWYG editor or click on the HTML tab of the editor. Paste the code copied from the Google Maps site to the desired place. This may take a few attempts but it will definitely work.
